Former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is one of those people in public life who’s almost disturbingly free with her opinions, like that time she publicly accused Barack Obama and abortion of working in tandem to bring on the Rapture. But give the woman her due: she’s got moves.
Here is the evidence, taken at an event at Kings College, a Christian school in New York. We saw it via The Hill, which didn’t pass any particular judgment on Bachmann’s sweet moves. We will: they’re good.
It’s unclear what, in a larger sense, is going on here. The event Bachmann was attending is something called Interregnum. Here is the description:
Interregnum is the three-day, all-campus conference that culminates a year’s worth of theme exploration. Interregnum galvanizes students, faculty, and staff towards participating in various events such as student speech competitions, parliamentary style debates, and an evening assembly featuring a notable speaker.
OK! This year’s theme was “Ambition,” which still doesn’t quite contextualize things for us, but some things are best left unanswered.
Let’s also take a sec to note that the former Congresswoman herself RTed that video, which is quite endearing. Still don’t forgive you for that time you implied LGBT people were pedophiles, Michele, but glad we can all come together on your sick moves.
