Saturday Night Live finally got to take a swipe at last Sunday’s presidential word salad. There was no chance the cast would out-crazy reality, but the cold open they concocted is still pretty hilarious (and, unlike the actual debate, won’t make you want to hide your face and cry-scream).
Memorable moments include Alec Baldwin’s Trump sneaking and swooping around Kate McKinnon’s Clinton to the Jaws theme music, Trump pleading, “I love the kids, I love them so much I marry them,” and Clinton identifying the one thing she likes about Trump as his generosity: “Just last Friday, he handed me this election.”
Then, on Sunday morning, the realDonaldTrump (but who can tell) got on Twitter and hurled childish epithets at Baldwin and the “media.”

After it was reported earlier this month that Kim Kardashian was bound, gagged, and robbed at gunpoint in Paris, many gossip blogs sneered at Kardashian’s version of events, and at least one site, MediaTakeOut, actually speculated that Kardashian had faked her story all together.
Well, Kardashian filed a libel lawsuit against MediaTakeOut on Tuesday, and the site is now admitting the error of its ways.
On Saturday, MediaTakeOut founder Fred Mwangaguhuna told CNN:
“Our number one goal is to produce the most accurate information as quickly as possible and we did that… But now, looking back at it, you have a chance often times to look back and reflect on what it is that happened. It’s now clear that she was robbed. It’s clear that the reporting that we did hurt her, and we certainly don’t want that to be what we do…. Kim Kardashian is not just a celebrity, she is a human being. She is a mother, she is a wife and she was a victim of a violent crime. She definitely did not deserve it and she deserved to be believed.”
