Prime Minister of Australia Secretly Recorded Mocking Trump

In what he is now calling a “good humored roast,” Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull spent a portion of his speech at the Parliament House’s annual Midwinter Ball on Wednesday openly mocking our president, a man whose skin is so thin you can see the maggots swirling underneath.

Nine News Australia reports that traditionally the Prime Minister’s address at the Ball are off the record, but their Political Editor Laurie Oakes decided to leak the audio, perhaps to see if he can get Trump to tweet the nuclear codes. In his remarks, Turnbull does a not-great Donald impression while mentioning fake polls and Russian influence, all of 2017's greatest hits:

“The Donald and I, we are winning and winning in the polls. We are winning so much. We are winning, we are winning like we have never won before. We are winning the polls. We are! We are. Not the fake polls. Not the fake polls! They’re the ones we’re not winning in. We’re winning in the real polls. You know, the online polls. They are so easy to win. I know that. Did you know that? I kind of know that. They are so easy to win. I have this Russian guy. Believe me it’s true, it is true.”

Turnbull and Trump have had a difficult relationship since Trump took office, with the president complaining his phone conversation with Turnbull in February was “the worst call by far.” Though the two have met with apparent cordiality since, this little exposé may further sour their next phone call.
