Paula Faris Might Be The View's Latest Casualty

In the never-ending parade of hosts on ABC’s The View, another one might be biting the dust. According to Page Six, Paula Faris will be the next to be fired from the struggling morning talk show. Who knew we’d miss Elisabeth Hasselbeck, if only to keep the hosts we dislike recognizable?

Faris—who was cast as a right-wing Christian pundit—was reportedly “unlikeable to viewers” and “scored some of the lowest numbers ever.” Whoopi Goldberg, the show’s last stalwart, is supposedly thrilled about the news because she isn’t “a fan” of Faris and “never misses an opportunity to bite her head off.”

Naturally, all of this juicy intel is from an unnamed source, while an actual representative for ABC said, “Paula is a great addition to the team, and she’ll absolutely be back as a co-host next season.” Faris is still working—on Wednesday she joined The View live from the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

The unnamed source also says that host Sunny Hustin will become an official table member next season, while Raven-Symoné won’t.
