Louis C.K. Has Been Dubbed Out of a Cartoon Where He Played a Monster Who Tells People to Get In His Mouth

Louis C.K. has retreated into the dark, where he is making tiny piles of amends to sleep on. Meanwhile, his many employers left behind are dealing with the fall-out of losing their star. That includes Gravity Falls, the Disney Channel cartoon where C.K. voiced a one-armed monster who tried to talk people into getting into his mouth. Yikes!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, C.K. appeared in two episodes in 2015 and 2016, “Weirdmageddon: Part 1,” and then its follow-up, “Weirdmageddon: Part 3.” His character is officially titled The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity, which makes you wonder if C.K. had some input on his role. Has there ever been a man more excited to tell on himself? Disney has confirmed that C.K.’s voice has been eliminated:

“The role was rerecorded approximately one month ago and new versions of three episodes are now on the Disney XD schedule around the world,” a Disney Channels spokesperson confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. “Series creator and executive producer Alex Hirsch is now credited as playing the character.”

Unfortunately, that won’t do anything to replace the face of The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity, which looks as much like its originator as it acts.
