Even though Lifetime’s Little Women is often merely an excuse to watch a group of women discuss a future gathering (including who’s invited and who’s being excluded), attend said gathering (and inevitably feud), and then reflect on said gathering and plan for a future one, the franchise—which purports to follow the social lives of people with dwarfism—is sometimes culturally enlightening. Kind of.
During the Little Women: Atlanta reunion, the second part of which aired Wednesday night (yes, they had enough to talk about to fill 90 minutes of post-season airtime), a discussion of all things sex as it applies to these particular little people occurred.
“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh my god, you’re always my fantasy, or my fetish,’” recalled Bri (aka Left Cheek). To Minnie, curiosity crosses the line to fetish when men offer to pick her up and toss her around, but Ms. Juicy (baaaaaayby) said, “If he can pick you up and flip you up and down, that mean he’s big and strong, honey. Come on daddy, if you think you can do it, here I am.”
They also discussed their proclivities for taking average-sized partners, and the ensuing disdain they receive from average-sized women for doing so. This isn’t the first time a discussion like this has come up on one of the franchise’s several offshoots, but I’ll be damned if it isn’t reliably captivating.
