Leona Lewis and Lisa Vanderpump Partnered to Create This Alarming PSA on Behalf of Dogs

In good news for animal lovers and slightly less good news for Leona Lewis’s pop career, the singer has released the very grammatically confusing “(We All Are) Looking For Home” in partnership with the organizations Stop Yulin Forever and the Vanderpump Dog Foundation. The “charity track” is meant to generate awareness for the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China, an annual event resulting in the torture and death of 10,000-15,000 dogs and cats.

In the video, above, Leona Lewis sings a song about loneliness to a slideshow of some fairly distressing images of animal torture and Giggy Vanderpump stuffed into a tuxedo jacket. A lyrical sample:

When all you feel is lonely

This world is such a lonely place

You look everywhere around you

Just trying to find a friendly face

I know how it feels to feel like you’re all alone

Out in the cold I was lost I was lookin’ for home

We all are lookin’ for home

Somewhere we’re not alone

So true.

According to the Vanderpump Dog Foundation website, which features a background of pink dog hair, the organization (501c3 pending) was founded by “Lisa Vanderpump, her husband Ken Todd, and their eight dogs” in March 2016. As seen during an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this past season, Bravo.com reports that the main goal of the foundation is to stop the Yulin Festival, but they’re also working to set up a rescue center in West Hollywood for abused and abandoned dogs. Anyway, here is what the website looks like:

I...don’t know what to say?
