On this week’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians the A-Plot was Kris Jenner’s birthday video and party; the B-Plot was Kendall Jenner walking in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show; and the C-Plot was Kylie’s very vague issues with Tyga. Let’s get all the way into it and #LEGGO.
Scene 1: Filmed on September 11, 2015
The show opens with Kimberly Kardashian West, wife of developmentally stunted rapper and fashion student, Kanye West, taking her friends Jonathan, Simon, and sister, Kendall Jenner to dinner. In an effort to ensure a free meal, Jonathan compliments the heavily pregnant Kim on not looking pregnant when she sits or takes selfies. Kim blushes, and then tells the group about an issue Caitlyn Jenner had with a poor choice of words on The Ellen Show. According to Kim, Caitlyn said on the show that she identified as a republican who still didn’t support gay marriage, despite being a prominent member of the trans community. After the Ellen show aired, Caitlyn called Kim to talk about how the media twisted her words, and that she was a changed woman and currently supports gay marriage. Kim also claims that Caitlyn referred to herself as “Bruce” periodically during their conversation. This scene was filmed on September 11, 2015.
Scene 7: Filmed on October 28, 2015
Caitlyn Jenner gathers for a girls birthday lunch with Kourtney, Kim, Kylie, and Penelope. Because of the unique way this scene is shot, it’s clear that this is a lifted scene from I Am Cait’s upcoming season. Caitlyn opens gifts from her girls, after Kim announces that Kendall will be walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show the following month in New York. Kim warns Caitlyn that this is the one fashion show she needs to go to, because it’s a huge deal. Caitlyn is thrilled for her child and decides to go. This lunch was filmed on October 28, 2015.
Scene 9: Filmed on November 2, 2015
Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie gather at Kris Jenner’s house to film their music video for Kris’ 60th birthday party. Despite each one of the sisters (minus Kendall) living in palatial homes minutes away from Kris’, they decide to film her surprise video at her house. Corey gets Kris away for a short period of time, but when Khloe calls her mom to check on her whereabouts, Kris says that she will be home shortly. With this time constraint in mind, the sisters head inside to eat their salads. Per their mental shot list, each sister has to film an individual shot on the treadmill in Kris’ garage, followed by a group shot in a convertible. Kylie, who is barely listening, excuses herself from her salad for a “phoner,” annoying her sisters. Since Kylie left, Kendall suggests getting the solo shoots in, and hopefully Kylie will be ready for hers and the group shoot after her phone call.
The sisters film their solo shots on the treadmill, but when it’s time for the group moment, things take a turn. While her sisters smile for the camera and nod their little heads along to the music, Kylie remains unexcited as she stares into the distance, barely lip syncing. She even kills the continuity of their shot when she switches from a black to a green jacket in the middle of filming! When they take a break, Kylie tells her sisters that she wants to disinvite Tyga from Kendall’s birthday party. Kendall doesn’t want to un-invite the man day of, but she thinks that Kylie should experiment with being single.
When pressed about why she doesn’t want him there, Kylie says she’s “over it” and breaks down. She then bolts from filming, leaving her sisters alone and upset. Kylie’s breakdown was filmed on November 2, 2015.
Scene 10: Filmed on November 2, 2015
Despite her sister’s relationship drama, Khloe is pissed that Kylie ran off since Kris will be home any minute. Like Kylie, Khloe is having some male drama as well, except hers includes a barely viable man laid up in a hospital bed, yet she still found a way to make it through. Kourtney goes to talk to Kylie who said she’s having issues with Tyga and doesn’t know what to do. She then leaves because her makeup is bad and she doesn’t even want to be on camera. Kylie’s absence kills the group shot, and filming is officially wrapped. Like Scene 9, this scene was filmed on November 2, 2015.
Scene 11: Filmed on November 2, 2015
Kris Jenner finally makes it back home and chats with Kim and Jonathan Cheban in her kitchen. Jonathan, who just at the top of the show, complimented Kim on how good she looks pregnant, laughs at how fat Kim was during her last pregnancy compared to her current one. They agree that she’s now fat in the right places, as opposed to her just looking round all over. The conversation shifts to Kendall Jenner walking in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, and Kris is pissed that Caitlyn Jenner will be in attendance. Kris also spits out to Kim that none of of this would have happened if she hadn’t opened her “big mouth” to Caitlyn about the show, days earlier. She also vows to tell her self-proclaimed favorite child that she won’t be telling her anything important ever again. Kendall, who is desperate to separate herself from her family as it relates to her modeling career, wants zero of her family members in attendance. She’s worried about a media frenzy and Kris thinks that if Caitlyn shows up Kendall will “kill herself.” Kim doesn’t see the issue of letting the child’s father know about one of her greatest accomplishments, and is not afraid of Kris. To put an end to this, Kris and Kim call Kendall to tell her about Caitlyn. Kendall is upset, but doesn’t want to talk about it until after her birthday party that night. Like Scenes 9 & 10, this scene was filmed on November 2, 2015.
Scene 12: Filmed on November 2, 2015
Kendall’s birthday party has finally arrived, and everyone but Kylie shows up on time. Kylie is late and looks like she’s on the run from the law in the 1940s. Though she and Tyga broke up earlier that day, they literally kiss and make up at the party. Because this was a moneymaking day for our favorite family, like Scenes 9, 10, & 11 this scene was filmed on November 2, 2015.
Scene 14: Filmed on November 6, 2015
At Khloe’s house, Khloe gets ready for Kris Jenner’s 60th birthday party with Kendall and Kylie. While getting glammed for the Great Gatsby themed event, Khloe tells her younger sisters that Gatsby had these parties because alcohol was banned in the 1920s. She then takes a call from Corey, who wants to leave for the party one and a half hours ahead of schedule. Then it happens. Kendall, picks up a call from her father, and her elder, Caitlyn Jenner. Before Caitlyn can even get a “hello” out, Kendall warns her that she’s upset. Caitlyn apparently had her publicist release that she would be attending the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, which crossed Kendall’s line. Kendall is livid, because she didn’t want any of her family members there and now the most head turning one will be front and center. Kendall reams Caitlyn for stealing the biggest night of her life away from her, all so Caitlyn could bask in her “goodass attention!”!!!! Caitlyn is not on speaker phone, but you can hear her yelling right back at Kendall, who tells Caitlyn she’s “welcome to come if you don’t fucking say anything, and you walk through the back door!” This remarkable show of privilege and insubordination was filmed on November 6, 2015.

Over at Kris Jenner’s house, Kim Kardashian West, is being sewn into her dress. Like Scene 14, this scene was filmed on November 6, 2015.
Scene 19: Filmed on November 6, 2015
Everyone makes it to Kris’ star-studded 60th birthday event. Kim is hype that Kanye was able to wedge some space in his schedule to attend, and Kris is overwhelmed by the love she feels. Khloe, who hasn’t had alcohol in the four weeks since Lamar was hospitalized, continuously sips Moet as she answers numerous questions about Lamar’s condition. It’s finally time to show the music video the girls worked “hard” on, and like the episode prior, E! didn’t clear the song, so we just see the images with generic music played over. Kris loves the video, and gives a moving speech afterwards, which Khloe interrupts. Khloe is sufficiently drunk and back to her old tricks. She curses out the guests and invites Charlie Wilson and Kanye West onstage to sing Happy Birthday to Kris. Like Scenes 14 & 16, this scene was filmed on November 6, 2015.
