Designer Jeremy Scott's work is almost always referential to some kind of pop cultural touchstone; he's channeled The Simpsons, The Flintstones, skater art, and My Pet Monster. For Spring 2014 (shown yesterday as part of New York Fashion Week) it looks like he took his inspiration from the decor inside Pee-wee's Playhouse, from the leopard print of the picture phone booth to the abstract wall patterns to the updated beatnik look of the Puppet Band. It helps that that the models were topped off with some Miss Yvonne-style bouffants.
