Here we go again: Some signs point to Jennifer Lawrence and her mother! director Darren Aronofsky getting back together (the couple broke up in October after dating for a year).
E! News reports that on Wednesday Lawrence, Aronofsky, and Pippi the small dog were photographed entering a New York City residence—an occurrence neither star has accounted for yet.
But that’s what sources are for! E!’s source said on Thursday that the two “are friends. They’re not officially back together but are spending time together again. They never stopped speaking after they broke up. They care about each other. They’re just seeing what happens.”
In my experience writing gossip roundups for more than a year now, there is always a “source” who says something like this and then you find out a few days later, almost without fail, the the couple is giving it another shot.
I still need to see mother!.

Kristian Nairn, the actor who plays Hodor on Game of Thrones, was holding the dough (yes, I’ve watched all of that show, unfortunately) and serving coffee at a Dunkin’ Donuts location in Manhattan on Thursday in celebration of the winter solstice.
That’s Dark Roast Coffee to be exact. Good for the season in which a slight caffeine buzz can be the difference between holy-shit-it’s-cold and fuck-it’s-too-cold (i.e. no sunlight). Endless promotions for anything that will make one feel less sick or freezing are the dismal beach of winter.
