James Corden Ruins Titanic

Is nothing sacred? On Monday night’s edition of The Late Late Show with James Corden, he and Ariana Grande performed a medley of classic and modern-day songs that could’ve soundtracked Titanic, in a performance complete with set pieces mimicking scenes from the movie.

At least it wasn’t karaoke in a claustrophobic automobile, but this is obviously blasphemy. The performance (13 songs and nine sets) started with Styx’s “Come Sail Away” and included Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance,” *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” (“There’s no room for me up on that door/Baby bye bye bye,” Corden sang) (Could he have fit on the door or no?), and Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me” (a white people fav). It ended with Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” which Grande sang beautifully and is the only song that should be associated with Titanic.
