A felt hat that Beyoncé wore on the “Formation” tour is being sold at auction. I would like to acquire it, even though I am not worthy.
Specifically, I would like to buy this hat for the entire Jezebel staff, so that we can take turns wearing it while blogging about ghosts and corrupt politicians. I just know that the site would be better with this article of clothing at our disposal. I can just feel it. It would be like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants except the pants are a hat and the hat was Beyoncé’s. You get it.
Also, it looks great.
Pitchfork reports that the proceeds from the auction, held by Heritage Auctions, will be donated to the the Lung Transplant Project. That is great news, as I love philanthropy as well. But the problem is, I don’t have the funds to buy this hat, which is currently listed at $2,200. That’s simply just too much money for a blogger like me. So if you love the women of Jezebel and care about our general wellbeing and sense of style, please buy this for us.
