In a now-deleted Instagram post, the actress and author shared a screengrab of an iPhone notification alerting her to Hurricane Maria’s landfall. But the image was not coupled with an offering of her thoughts, hopes, prayers, or plea for donations. It was over a caption that read:
And just like that, our family vacation is canceled. Such a bummer but we plan to hit the @nickresortpuntacana resort another time this year.
This screams “we got this vacation free because I was going to Instagram the hell out of it as my part of the deal and now I feel obligated to say something” to me, but what do I know? I’m no witch.
