Here's a photo straight from the NSA's once-secret archives depicting "contestants in the Miss NSA pageant held annually in the 1950s and early 1960s." Note the numbers on their sashes; how mysterious! (Government: Please don't start monitoring me! I like the sashes! They're cute.)
According to the archives, the NSA also regularly held fall festivals in the mid-20th century, complete with pony rides.
