Girls Trip Writer Tracy Oliver Is Making a Horror Thriller With Pharrell

Just when you thought music festivals were horrifying enough on their own, Girls Trip writer Tracy Oliver is helping to write the forthcoming horror movie, Survive the Night, a movie adaptation of the YA book of the same name which takes place at a music festival.

Oliver is going to write and direct the movie, which is heavily music-focused, and Pharrell Williams and his frequent creative partner Mimi Valdes are going to produce. According to the Hollywood Reporter the movie will follow “a group of female college students trapped inside an underground warehouse music festival on Halloween. They must fight for their lives against a mysterious attacker who hunts them down throughout the night.”

I can just picture the killer now...tie-dye crop-top, man-bun, guzzling an IPA as he runs around the warehouse wielding a knife...chilling!
