Here is the second season trailer for HBO’s Ballers and you know what? Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson keeps his shirt on the entire one minute and eleven seconds, yet I still want to watch. Who said women who don’t care about (most) sports don’t watch sports shows?
Ballers returns on July 17, pitting Spencer Strasmore (Johnson) against Andre (Andy Garcia) as the sleazy financial manager who mismanaged his money. The Rock wants revenge and it’s personal; perhaps all of the forthcoming drama will include shots of Dwayne’s bare butt in action, as it did in Season 1. Let’s keep what works, HBO.
In other news, Johnson is joining a reboot of Jumanji (because Hollywood is out of fresh ideas) to coincide with his role in the Baywatch reboot (because Hollywood is out of fresh ideas), according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie starts filming this year and will be released July 28, 2017. Robin Williams starred in the original film “as the freed jungle dweller who must work to win the magical board game that locked him away,” which was released in 1995.
