Damn, Who Snitched on My Weed Carrots

It took me 300 rolls of orange duct tape and months—years—of careful cultivation in my grow house to make my beautiful carrots, and suddenly they’re just SEIZED?

Via CNN:

Officers in Pharr, Texas, on Sunday found 2,493 pounds of suspected marijuana concealed within a commercial shipment of fresh carrots entering from Mexico.

“Once again, drug smuggling organizations have demonstrated their creativity in attempting to smuggle large quantities of narcotics across the U.S.-Mexico border,” Port Director Efrain Solis Jr. said in a statement.

The truck carrying my beautiful carrots attracted the attention of an imaging system at the Texas border, crossing the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge. CNN shades my work a little bit here:

Almost 3,000 carrot-shaped packages were discovered...

OKAY, CNN...THEY LOOK PRETTY GOOD TO ME

mixed in with real carrots. Officers were able to fill up the beds of two pickup trucks with the seized contraband. The estimated street value of the marijuana is $499,000.

RIP my beautiful weed carrots. May you rest in peace in the whip.
