The Culinary Workers Union 226 in Las Vegas is planning a special welcome Wednesday for failed haunted house attraction Donald Trump, who’s arriving to debate Hillary Clinton. The CWU is building a wall of taco trucks outside Trump International Hotel, because sometimes poetic justice is both perfect and delicious.
NBC reports that the trucks will line up outside the hotel; taco trucks have also been doing voter registration across the city. The CWU’s political director tells NBC that they’re grateful to Trump for the idea:
“We did not come up with the idea for the wall, Donald Trump came up with building the wall,” said Yvanna Cancela, the political director of the Culinary Workers Union 226 in Las Vegas. “We want to show him that walls don’t divide us, and rather what he has done is uniting us. And when I say ‘us,’ I mean it as in every group that Trump has vilified: Muslims, women, immigrants and workers. We are all coming together to make sure that Donald Trump never becomes president.”
Trump, meanwhile, has very temporarily laid off calling Mexicans and Muslims names to leave space for referring to his opponent as a swamp creature:
Nothing will ever be as bad as this election and we all deserve hundreds of tacos for stomaching it.
