We’re here at the Conservative Political Action Conference 2016. Here are some regular updates about how we’re feeling about that, emotionally.
It is day two at CPAC. Ted Cruz will be here later. Ben Carson will be here later to make a mystery announcement whose contents we can’t possibly guess. The security lines are long; a Secret Service agent rifles through a makeup bag, looking in bafflement at some BB cream. It is not yet 10 a.m. and three speakers have already gotten mildly emotional talking about Ronald Reagan.
We, too, feel a little teary.
This has been a CPAC mental health check-in.
