After months of being adorable and pregnant and in love, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have finally welcomed a new baby into the world, and her name is Luna Simone. (And no, this did not happen at Coachella, where every other celebrity in the world seems to be right now.)
Teigen and Legend’s firstborn was introduced to the wide, wide world in an Instagram post on Teigen’s account.
“She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” read the ‘gram caption, which was uploaded on April 17.
Legend took to Twitter to make a similar announcement, which revealed the birth date of their newborn.

The first night of Coachella kicked off with, to paraphrase T.S. Eliot, not a bang but a whimper. And in true form, it’s all thanks to Kanye West.
Yeezy, who was not listed on the bill for the music festival, made a special guest appearance on Friday night at the tail end of a set performed by fellow rapper A$AP Rocky.
According to CNN, the surprise cameo didn’t go exactly as planned:
“Yeezy surprised the California desert crowd by appearing toward the end of rapper A$AP Rocky’s evening set, jumping on stage to something even more shocking — silence. Kanye’s microphone was turned off almost immediately because A$AP started his performance 20 minutes late and the set had gone over its allotted time.
The pair kept the silent party going for nearly two minutes — leading some to believe Kanye didn’t know his mic was off — before giving a shrug and calling it a night. The crowd quickly turned to a sea of ‘boos’ and shows of frustration.”
