Anya Taylor-Joy In Talks to Rejoin The Witch Director for a Nosferatu Remake

Anya Taylor-Joy has proven to be a scream queen for our time. After giving a breakout performance as a young woman accused of witchcraft in 2016's The Witch and a super-humanoid girl in sci-fi thriller Morgan, she landed the lead in M. Night Shyamalan’s Split this year.

Now Taylor-Joy, who clearly enjoys being terrified on screen, is hopefully teaming up again with The Witch director Robert Eggers for a remake of the 1922 silent movie Nosferatu. Taylor-Joy is in negotiations for the movie according to Variety and while Eggers wanted to collaborate with her on the movie early, in the process Taylor-Joy’s star has risen. She’s already in the new X-Men movie and the sequel to Split.

Surely Taylor-Joy can find some time in her busy schedule of cavorting with witches, mutants and murderers to be bitten by some vampires, no? Or, ideally, be the vampire.
