Hair color icons for four decades, the sisters have been slowly turning the world’s locks technicolor since founding their boutique, Manic Panic, in 1977. The now-global brand attracted celebrities like Cyndi Lauper and Cher from its inception—but before Manic Panic would become the pioneering brand in punky dye, the Bellomo sisters simply saw the store as a side gig to a burgeoning musical career.
