Channing Tatum is the latest Hollywood influencer to get the fuck away from Harvey Weinstein and the business he was instrumental in building.
On Wednesday, the actor announced in a joint statement with his producing partner Reid Carolin that they will not be going forward with developing a film adaptation of Matthew Quick’s novel Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock with the Weinstein Company, in light of the overwhelming sexual abuse and harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein. The project would have been their co-directorial debut feature.

Anna Faris maintains that she and Chris Pratt, who recently split after eight years of marriage, still have plenty of love for one another. Faris told People on Wednesday:
“There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me, still. We watched each other grow, and he still cracks me up all the time. And I think I crack him up—unless he’s a really good actor and great at faking laughter.”
Or, unless you’ve got some really good PR behind you! But, whatever, I want to believe it. And in any case it’s sweet and mature that they’re not bitter and battering one another in the press.
