Because there are no true heroes, it’s been discovered that Hamilton’s Brandon Victor Dixon once exercised some really inept Twitter judgment back in 2012. Here ya go:
Neat. Dixon plays Aaron Burr in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit Broadway show, making an even bigger name for himself on Friday night when he called out Vice President-elect Mike Pence after the curtain, imploring him to “uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us. All of us.”
Stirring, yes, but undercut somewhat by his ominous tweet which seems to suggest St. Patrick’s Day is a great time to prey on women. Comedian and ESPN correspondent Reese Waters is in there, too, which I guess is like the social media version of a chest-bump.
Hardly holds a candle to the predatory language bandied by our own soon-to-be president, but noteworthy nonetheless.
