Donald Trump Goes to Colorado, Fusses Some More About Election Rigging

Donald Trump—a Chipotle burrito taken to its natural, digested conclusion—spent the weekend campaigning in Colorado, which means that, yet again, he boohooed in public about purported election rigging. And in the process, he may have even implied that Colorado constituents should vote more than once.

As CNN reports, Trump made a stop in Greeley, Colorado on Sunday, where he asked the crowd if they had mailed in their ballots and whether they believed they would be counted fairly. He professed himself to be “skeptical” about Colorado’s vote-by-mail process, an option many choose to take. Those registered to vote in Colorado need not request a ballot — they are mailed one directly.

However, Trump advised everyone to visit their local polling station and procure a “new ballot.”

“They’ll give you a ballot, a new ballot. They’ll void your old ballot, they will give you a new ballot. And you can go out and make sure it gets in,” explained the master rhetorician.

What’s unclear is whether Trump was advising supporters to vote in person even if they had already submitted a ballot by mail. If so, that would constitute voter fraud, the very crime Trump accuses Democrats of perpetrating. During another Colorado rally on Saturday, Trump critiqued the vote-by-mail process because he thought it would enable people to vote more than once.

So far, only one case of voter fraud has been reported. The person responsible? A Trump supporter.
