Angel-voiced singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris turns 69 today, so it’s fitting that we offer her a little tribute.
She’s still kicking ass on stage and, in the last decade alone, has released a variety of solo and collaborative projects. One of my favorite bands, First Aid Kit, even released the sweet song “Emmylou,” inspired by Harris’s duets with Gram Parsons on Grievous Angels. But for now, let’s take it back to this 1977 performance of “Making Believe.”
