Is She's the Man Your Favorite Movie? It's 10 Years Old Today!

A decade ago today, Amanda Bynes, pre a few difficult years, starred in the best movie I’ve ever seen.

She’s the Man, loosely inspired by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, features Amanda Bynes as Viola Hastings, who poses as her twin brother Sebastian using a horrible wig and the weirdest fake bro-accent imaginable. A very not-bloated Channing Tatum stars, along with David Cross as their oversharing principal who performs my favorite song from a feature film, “Welcome to Illyria.”

Do you, like the be-headgeared Eunice, feel that your “intensity scares people” sometimes? Did you like it when Viola refers to herself as a “badass hunky dude?” Have you ever tried to say “Shh, I’m brilliant!” but it wasn’t funny and no one got the joke, because you aren’t Amanda Bynes and life isn’t She’s the Man? Do you worry that you’ll never again have an experience as positive as watching She’s the Man for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time?
